How to quickly hang a Baby Bed Canopy

Have you bought or are you planning to buy a bed canopy for your baby, but you're not sure how to hang it up ? It's not that complicated, you'll see that it's actually quite easy ! Read the instructions below at your leisure, so that your child can sleep peacefully with minimal noise and visual intrusion. Note that this reading will take you less than 2 minutes and that the assembly will take about 15 minutes.
Different solutions
There are 3 ways to attach a bed canopy to a baby bed. Each one has its advantages, depending on you and the type of canopy you are going to mount. The first is the fixing without drilling, the second is the fixing by drilling and the last one is the fixation with a bedpost !
Fixing without drilling
Let's start with the simplest solution. This consists of gluing an element to the ceiling above your baby's bed or cot in order to hang the bed canopy directly from it. Here are the elements to choose from: adhesive hooks, double-sided adhesive tape or fixing modelling paste.
Fixing by drilling
For this solution you will need a few tools : tarpaulin, pencil, drill, dowel, hook. Once you have everything together, start by putting the tarpaulin on the bed or the floor. A small tarpaulin will do very well. Then mark the ceiling where you will hang the bed canopy. Adapt the mode of your drill according to the type of ceiling you have (concrete or plasterboard). Then drill gently in the marked area. Screw the dowel into this hole. Finally, tighten the hook in the dowel. You can then hang your baby's bed canopy on the same hook.
Fixing with a bedpos
We recommend this last method if you want to put the bed canopy on a cradle. First, attach the bedpost to the bars of the cradle. To do this, use the clamp and knob system that is normally supplied with the bedpost. The bedpost must be at a height of more than 1.20 m. Then slide the bed canopy over the circle of the bedpost.
